Well I am still tackling my client’s wedding album and I am having a wonderful time doing so.  I only have sneak peeks for you right now because I don’t usually scan my layouts until I get a good sized pile going.  The first peek is of a flower I made out of a special handkerchief from her ceremony.

The second is a peek of the bling I bought just last night, it’s perfect!

And the third is of some yummy flowers I chalked, jeweled and “glossed” up.

Full layouts will come in the near future, so be sure to check back.

I decided to crochet a couple of scarfs for some family members for Christmas.  These are the first ones I have ever made and I am very pleased with how they turned out.

It took me a while to figure out how thick to make them at first, but once I figured that out it only took me about an hour per scarf.

I know some of you are probably thinking, “What happened to the blanket she started making in September?” Well I have not given up on it, I just wanted to get these done first… plus I had to buy more yarn for the blanket before I could move on… which I have done, so you will see an update on that later :o)

I’ve been tackling the organization of my scrapbooking supplies recently… mostly paper.  I am re-sorting by color the papers I will keep.

Including putting my 8.5×11 sizes with the 12×12 sizes in color order.

I am sorting the papers I want to get rid of.

I am sorting supplies I can most likely use for Wendy’s scrapbooking swap on her blog.  Check that out here… sign-ups end this Saturday!

And I am putting aside things that can be sold on ebay… this step is by far not done, I still have a large rubbermaid bin to go thru…

This all helps with the overall look of my office (once it gets out of the hurricane stage) and it helps me get more actual scrapbooking done!  Who’d a thunk?!  :o)

My kids like to dump out their toy bins in their room to use them to stand on, sit on, even have a picnic on?! I am starting to hate toys and am really not liking the teaching process so my daughter will learn to pick up after herself, but I know it will be better in the long run.

And this is a view of my constant pick up in the family room… my daughter moves ALL the pillows to the floor and puts her animals to “sleep” with ALL of the blankies from the blankie basket… at least this is an easier pick up :o)

I must admit this is a fun tackle, but I am also a procrastinator, so that makes it just a little bit stressful, but I am also starting to think I work (artistically) pretty well under pressure.

I am making 16 of these little suckers by Friday…

Of coarse if you are a fan of my Scrapbooking Recipes you should check back sometime soon because I am going to make a recipe for altered paint cans as well. They are so fun to make, you won’t want to miss it!

Of coarse these two are not complete yet, they are missing some embellishments, but since I am making 16 of them I have an order I go in… the cans all have the paper glued on them, now I am in the ribbon tying stage, then I will embellish :o) I will show you the finished product when I am done :o)

This tackle was on my list a month ago, but it was something I could not do by myself.  Once again I had some wonderful helpers… thank you Christine for being out of town so I could “watch” your children, lol!

They helped me move my daughter’s bunkbed from one side of the room to the other.(Yes I took pictures while my daughter was napping, she’s so good.)

They helped me move a couch from where this kitchen is to my room where the crib used to be…

Yes my son is 15 months old and he was still in our room… this was a very needed tackle.

Then I took the crib apart to get it out the door, I also moved my bike on it’s trainer into my room in front of the couch, it was where the crib is now…

I also have been tackling daily chores like the dishes, the laundry, vacuuming the couches and floors. There are still a couple “bigger” things I would like to do like clean the fishtank and get my son’s next size of clothes out of the garage and organized into his dresser, I would also like to get the clothes that don’t fit my kids packed up and into the garage. They are on the top bunk of my daughter’s bed at the moment.  Oh, and now that I got my room back I had a little inspiration to get things pretty again, so I hung a candle holder my friend gave me from PartyLite, I have been waiting for the perfect spot for it… well I think I found it…

It’s amazing how inspired a little rearranging makes you feel huh?

I am tackling morning sickness (all day and night sickness for me).

Surprise! Are you excited? I am prego again! Hubby and I are very happy. We just had our first doctor appointment yesterday and are happy to say all is well. I am 10 weeks along with a due date of January 31st!

Yesterday was my mommy’s birthday so I surprised her with the good news then.

Today I went over to their house and celebrated both her birthday and mine since mine is tomorrow :o)

I would like to get all of these things done in two weeks since I am realizing my hubby will be gone tonight, we will be gone to a picnic and family’s house tomorrow for the 4th, and Thursday we are leaving to go camping!  Plus Monday I have a doctor’s appointment, Tuesday I am going to go see my mommy for her birthday, and Wednesday is my birthday!  I think I’ll break my weeks up…

Today

  1. Go shopping for food.
  2. Make deviled eggs for tomorrow.

This week

  1. Laundry picked up, cleaned, folded and put away!
  2. Pack for camping by Thursday.
  3. Vacuum
  4. Finish Dishes
  5. Clean Kitchen

Next week

  1. Clean up camping mess.
  2. Move my sons crib out of my room into his sister’s.
  3. Move the couch out of his new room into mine.

I’ll add more later and let you know how I’m doing… thanks for keeping me accountable ladies :o)

OH!! I almost forgot to say I am also tackling the POTTY this week!  My daughter is officially potty training!  Pray for me to have patience, grace and kindness in this endeavor :o)

My Client’s Mardi Gras themed Retirement album. It was a tough one because I had to think of creative ways to use Green, Purple and Gold over and over and over and over and over again. Finishing this album was on my tackle it tuesday list 8 weeks ago, so I am overjoyed to have it completed now. Here’s a peek at some of my work…

I figured since I missed Tackle it Tuesday on Tuesday and I always love Tackling something, I will just make it Tackle it Thursday instead :o)

I have a whole mountain of clean dishes now…

And I actually (finally) tackled my refrigerator and freezer…

WARNING THE FOLLOWING MAY BE DISTIRBING TO SEE…

there was old melted popsicle in my freezer, and plenty of other old spills in my fridge

I am so excited, my food has a nice clean home again. I am sure my sister-in-law who has the middle shelf will appreciate her food having a better home also :o)
