We Tackled it!!!

This tackle was on my list a month ago, but it was something I could not do by myself. Once again I had some wonderful helpers... thank you Christine for being out of town so I could "watch" your children, lol!

They helped me move my daughter's bunkbed from one side of the room to the other.
(Yes I took pictures while my daughter was napping, she's so good.)

They helped me move a couch from where this kitchen is to my room where the crib used to be...

Yes my son is 15 months old and he was still in our room... this was a very needed tackle.

Then I took the crib apart to get it out the door, I also moved my bike on it's trainer into my room in front of the couch, it was where the crib is now...

I also have been tackling daily chores like the dishes, the laundry, vacuuming the couches and floors. There are still a couple "bigger" things I would like to do like clean the fishtank and get my son's next size of clothes out of the garage and organized into his dresser, I would also like to get the clothes that don't fit my kids packed up and into the garage. They are on the top bunk of my daughter's bed at the moment.

Oh, and now that I got my room back I had a little inspiration to get things pretty again, so I hung a candle holder my friend gave me from PartyLite, I have been waiting for the perfect spot for it... well I think I found it...

It's amazing how inspired a little rearranging makes you feel huh?

Tackle it Tuesday

I am tackling morning sickness (all day and night sickness for me).

Surprise! Are you excited? I am prego again! Hubby and I are very happy. We just had our first doctor appointment yesterday and are happy to say all is well. I am 10 weeks along with a due date of January 31st!

Yesterday was my mommy's birthday so I surprised her with the good news then.

Today I went over to their house and celebrated both her birthday and mine since mine is tomorrow :o)

Plus Monday I have a doctor's appointment, Tuesday I am going to go see my mommy for her birthday, and Wednesday is my birthday! I think I'll break my weeks up...

2. Make deviled eggs for tomorrow.

This week
1. Laundry picked up, cleaned, folded and put away!
2. Pack for camping by Thursday.
3.Vacuume
4. Finish Dishes
5. Clean Kitchen

Next week
1. Clean up camping mess.
2. Move my sons crib out of my room into his sister's.
3. Move the couch out of his new room into mine.

I'll add more later and let you know how I'm doing... thanks for keeping me accountable ladies :o)

I finally finished

My Client's Mardi Gras themed Retirement album. It was a tough one because I had to think of creative ways to use Green, Purple and Gold over and over and over and over and over again. Finishing this album was on my tackle it tuesday list 8 weeks ago, so I am overjoyed to have it completed now. Here's a peek at some of my work...

Holy Housecleaning Blogwoman!!!

I figured since I missed Tackle it Tuesday on Tuesday and I always love Tackling something, I will just make it Tackle it Thursday instead :o)

I have a whole mountain of clean dishes now...

And I actually (finally) tackled my refrigerator and freezer...

WARNING THE FOLLOWING MAY BE DISTIRBING TO SEE...
there was old melted popsicle in my freezer, and plenty of other old spills in my fridge

I am so excited, my food has a nice clean home again. I am sure my sister-in-law who has the middle shelf will appreciate her food having a better home also :o)

I tackled the Backyard!

First of all let me say I have lived here for 6 years and I have always HATED my yards as long as I have been here. It was always easy to be lazy and blame it on a lack of money to do such a big job. But now I am tired of all the complaining and I am ready to clean up so me and my kids can go outside!!! Even if it is still never a real lawn, it will be clean dirt without WEEDS EVERYWHERE!!!

My before shot is actually the other side of the backyard that I have not finished yet, and the after photo is the side I planned on finishing today, and I really got it done!!! Thanks to a good friend of mine who came over and helped when I called her all frustrated and angry (yes still struggling, but I am figuring out what helps).

Notice how happy my daughter is in the after shot!!! It's totally all worth it for a photos like that! I also have a picture of my hubby playing with my son....

I want to say a HUGE thank you to 5 minutes 4 mom to encourage me every week to get something tackled, life has changed since tackling things with you gals... thank you for your obedience in the form of a blog :o).

Pictures Taken

Si-one

Frustration received!

My day so far made me need to come home and rest, so I am now venting to you.
I am never going back to Picture People, they do NOT have good customer service!

I went both there and to Kiddie Kandids today... it wasn't that I was unhappy with the photography, or even the photographer at Picture People, I am just upset with their policies and lack of communication.

They were going to delete my son's 10 month photos without even warning me! So I had to spend $100 to get the ones I wanted today, because they failed to tell me two months ago that if I don't purchase at least one sheet the day of the sitting I cannot view them online, and they will not keep them any longer than a couple months... even though they told me they would email them to me two months ago! And even though I purchased some today they are still not going to keep them in their computer, so what I get it is what I get and that's it. I am sorry, but going though this is not worth $18 - $25 per sheet.

I am stickin' with Kiddie Kandids! They were so nice to me today, I went to sign-up for I time slot before my scheduled appointment with Picture People and since Picture People was so annoying I ended up late for my turn, but they took me anyway, they were polite about it, and they had no problem with emailing me my photos even though I wasn't purchasing on the spot, no questions asked, no dirty looks given.

*sigh*

Tackle it Trouble?

Okay Ladies! I do not know if this happens to anyone else, but it seems I continue tackling the same thing every week... I am always behind, and am tired of it! Will this feeling ever go away? Will I ever be the Suburban Superwoman that my heart longs to be?! You know the one in Titus 2... the sensible, pure, worker at home, who is kind, submissive and honorable.

60s wife

I did three sink loads of dishes, and folded another couch full of laundry today... then I rammed my toes into the wall while climbing over the safety gate in our kitchen. And was out of commission because my toes were painfully swollen.

Will there ever be hope for me? The answer is YES! My husband is currently having me go through Psalm 121 and I have been very encouraged so far, because God tells me He will be my help, He will not allow my foot to slip, and He will not slumber. But it's a two way street, I have to let him help me... so here I am Lord, willing and ready, send me, even if it is only to do more laundry.
